Hello All!!
In case you couldn't tell, I'm new to the blogging community. So here's a little about me. I'm a knitter, spinner, weaver, dyer, beader, jewelry maker, sewer.... get the drift? About the only fiber craft I don't practice is quilting. I keep trying but I just lack the pactience to cut and sew a straight line. I also have a husband, two little boys and a full time job. I do not suffer from boredom, that's for sure. Currently Ravelry has me focused on knitting. In being able to easily catelogue my stash I have become uncomfortably aware of it' s rather large size and composition. I'm finding items in my stash thatI have had since I began knitting some umpteen years ago. So' I'm not so much concerned with whittling the size down as to getting rid of the yarn that has been sitting around for years. To that end I have joined SAM5. I have quite a bit of sock yarn and a difficult time motivating myself to finish socks. So now I've commited myself to finishing a pair of socks each month through June. I've also joined Burnin' up the stash 2008. I've lots of little projects in mind in order to use up more of the old stash.
I just have to say I LOVE Ravelry!!!!!
